Update on Local Parks

Girl Riding Bike

While local parks remain open to the public, we would like to remind residents about the importance of following the social distancing orders issued by Governor Newsom.  Visitors must maintain the required 6-foot distancing from one another at all times and refrain from engaging in group activities.  Please avoid crowded areas.  If a park cannot be enjoyed safely, go home or find a new park in the community.

Playground equipment, sports fields, drinking fountains, & exercise equipment are closed for the safety of all patrons. The Aliso Viejo Community Association (AVCA) has also implemented the following measures:

  • Removal of all basketball and volleyball nets at all AVCA parks
  • Tennis courts and other gated sports facilities/tot lots will be locked until further notice
  • Removal of swings from swing sets at tot lots
  • Caution tape around non-gated tot lots to create a barrier
  • The AVCA Dog Park is still CLOSED until further notice

Thank you for using the parks responsibly and helping to prevent the spread of the virus in our community!
