Three owl boxes have been donated and installed at Aliso Viejo Ranch as part of Eagle Scout Candidate Vikram Venkateswaran’s project. The boxes, hand-crafted out of douglas fir wood, have been mounted to trees to mimic the birds’ natural nesting environment, and are intended to provide safe havens for the barn and screech owls that are often spotted around the Ranch. Next time you visit Aliso Viejo Ranch, keep an eye out for the new owl boxes!
