How to Identify your E-Bike Type

Are you buying the correct e-bike type for your family? The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has created an educational video to assist the public in knowing the different classifications of e-bikes, legal requirements to ride each type of e-bike, and the related safety considerations. It’s important to purchase e-bikes appropriate for the age, skill level, and physical ability of the rider, in addition to wearing a helmet and following traffic laws.
