Fire Authority

Fire Protection and Emergency Services for the City of Aliso Viejo are provided by the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA). OCFA provides service to 23 of Orange County’s 34 cities as well as service to all unincorporated areas of the county. Along with providing emergency response to 911 calls, OCFA provides fire inspections, plan review, public information and education, and arson investigation.

Located at 57 Journey, the Aliso Viejo fire station is home to five firefighters including two paramedics who provide emergency services to the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Station 57 also serves as a Division Headquarters housing the local fire chief, administrative staff and community educator. Division Chief Baryic Hunter serves as the Fire Chief for the City of Aliso Viejo.
