Experience Corps Orange County
Are you interested in helping children build critical literacy skills? American Association of Retired People (AARP) Foundation Experience Corps Orange County is looking for residents age 50 and older who want to help kids learn to read.
Experience Corps Orange County is launching a program this fall at the Aliso Viejo Branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley, where tutors will provide literacy support to children in kindergarten through third grade. Experience Corps OC provides peer support, mentoring, coaching and ongoing training to help each tutor succeed.
This is a great opportunity for folks to mentor Aliso Viejo youth and celebrate their success. For more information, email Karen Banse or call 949-244-1560. View more information (PDF).
