Building & Safety
In order to ensure the Health and Safety of City residents and the general public, Building and Safety coordinates and enforces all Building and Housing regulations established by state and local governments.

City Clerk
The City Clerk’s Office supports municipal functions through the administration of legislative processes, election services, and records management.

City Manager
The City Manager’s Office implements decisions established by the Aliso Viejo City Council, and the coordination of those efforts through the different City departments.

Code Enforcement
The Code Enforcement Division enforces the City’s Municipal Code as it applies to property maintenance, property nuisances, building codes, housing, zoning and other areas of concern within residential and commercial districts.

Financial Services
The Department of Financial Services is primarily responsible for all budgeting, accounting, investments, debt service, fixed assets, and purchasing.

Information Technology
The Information Technology Services department's primary task is to guide the City by researching, testing and implementing new technologies in ways that enhance the community.

Planning Services
Planning Services is responsible for articulating and implementing the community vision of the natural and built environment as outlined in the General Plan, a comprehensive strategy for management of future physical growth and change within the community.
